Titus came into SNAFU Rescue after being purchased at a petsore by his former mom. His former mom had a lot going on in her personal life and didn't take into account the care that a puppy required. When she realized she did not have the time for him, she did the right thing and reached out to us for help in placing him and finding him a wonderful forever home.
Titus is a super loving, happy go lucky, goofy, silly little puppy! He seems to get along well with everyone he meets and does well with the other dogs in his foster home. He does not currently live with children but we think he would do well with dog saavy children 2yrs+ in his forever home. He is very gentle, and loves everyone BUT he is a puppy and is still learning not to play with his mouth and sharp puppy teeth, so puppy training should be taken into account by any potential adopters!
Titus is currently still working on potty training. A regular, consistent schedule will help with his continued potty training in his new home. He has also done great with crate training and sleeps quietly in his kennel during the night or when his foster family happens to leave the home. For his safety, we recommend that he keep a similar crating schedule when his humans are away from the home and/or he is left unsupervised so he is safe and secure while no one is home. He does not know danger and must be protected when his humans are not able to supervise him.
Medically, Titus is in great health! He has no known health issues. Per SNAFU Rescue's adoption policy, Titus WILL be neutered before he is able to be adopted/transfer to his forever home, and is UTD on all of his vaccinations/wormings.
Titus would do well in almost any type of home but since he is still working on potty training, and does not know how to potty on a leash, a house will be preferred for him (opposed to a multiple floor apartment style dwelling). He is still learning to go up and down stairs, but has been doing great with it so far! He just has to go slow, and he seems to do well. We also think he'd love to go work with his new family if they wanted to take his with them to the office. He is a pretty quiet boy but he is a puppy so still has a lot of puppy ornery-ness that he's ready to share! He loves to snuggle and hang out with his fur-brothers and sisters and his people! If taking him to work is not an option, he's completely happy sleeping the day away in his kennel as long as his people are able to come home and let him out for a mid-day potty break and short afternoon romp!
