NOTE: Please note that it will likely be at *least* a 3-4 week minimum before you hear back from us after submitting an adoption application. We typically accept for new applications for a period of 7 days or until 20 applications have been received for any newly available dog. After that time period, the applications are sent on to the foster family for review and that usually takes from at *least* a few days to a week to sort through the applications, etc. :-) Most of our dogs receive several applications so this process does take some time, especially on dogs who are more popular for one reason or another. We do require phone interviews to be conducted between the foster family and potential adopters, vet reference checks and a home visit to be conducted for all potential adopters, if they are selected as the top choice applicant, which will also take time to complete. That being said, we do always let our applicants know if they are chosen or not. :-)
IF you happen to not be chosen, please don't feel discouraged as, again, we usually get several applications for each dog, and sometimes it can be very difficult to choose just one adopter. In those cases, we usually offer to keep the applications for adoption on file for any future dogs that come into our rescue. :-)
ALL adopters are required to come and pick up their adopted dogs in person from the dog's foster home (we do not ship any of our dogs). Please have road/driving transport plans in place to pick up an adopted dog before you apply! While we are not against adopters flying a foster dog in cabin on a commercial flight, please keep in mind that many are not good candidates for flying due to size and/or being a brachycephalic/short nosed breed.
If an adopter can not keep one of our grads, for any reason at all, at ANY point in time, they *must* be willing and able to return their adopted dog to his/her original foster home, despite distance and any costs that would be required to do so.

Marvel was surrendered to SNAFU Rescue via breeder release. Her breeder wanted her to be placed in a loving pet home to be spoiled and live out her life as a cherished pet!.
Marvel is genuinely happy, curious, relaxed, social, sweet Frenchie girl who adores all people especially children. Be ready for a dog who follows you around like your shadow because she just loves to hang out and be near her people! When Marvel isn’t glued to her humans, you can find her exploring her foster home or chewing on her favorite toy. She sure enjoys a good game of “shake” with her rag ball; it really is quite adorable! Marvel has an explorative nature, loves the outdoors especially when she has the ability to roam the entire yard and scratch her little back on the sides of the fence. After all her exploring, you can find Marvel looking for a safe and comfy spot to lounge and take a frenchie nap. She seems to get along well with every human she meets and fancies all children! Marvel is very gentle and calm around all humans of any size but truly adores and prefers the company of small humans. She is very uneasy and nervous around other dogs and being around them causes her great anxiety.. Marvel is experiencing a big change and will need a patient and understanding family to help her overcome her anxiety around unfamiliar things. Her foster family believes she would do best in a home with calm, dog-savvy, gentle children of any age and preferably be the only pet in the home. As with all of our dogs, we recommend slow introductions and supervision around children when introducing a new dog in your home to make sure both she and they are kept safe.
Marvel is nearly 100% potty trained. In order for her to continue to be successfully potty trained in her new home her adoptive family must be willing to keep her on a consistent schedule and work with her on a signal for potty. Currently, Marvel has the use of a doggy dog in her foster home but at times has to be reminded to use it and go outside. She is completely crate trained and sleeps quietly without any accidents in her crate when her foster family happens to be away from the home. For her safety, we recommend that she is kept on a similar crating schedule when her humans happen to be away from the home.
Medically, Marvel seems to be in great health! She has been spayed, updated on vaccinations/dewormings and has been given a clean bill of health by our veterinarian!
Due to her explorative nature, Marvel would do well in a home with a yard, a family that can spend a lot of time with her outdoors and also be willing to include her in most of the family activities. A house with a fenced yard will be preferred for her (opposed to a multiple floor apartment style dwelling with no yard) as Marvel has yet to master the stairs. She is okay going up a few stairs but often requests her foster family carry her down them! Because of Marvel’s calm and quiet temperament we think she would love to go to work with her new family if they wanted to take her to the office. She is a sweet little girl who loves to meet new people! If her people are not able to take her to work with them, no problem - she can sleep the day away in her crate with a her comfy blanket as long as her people can arrange a mid day potty break for her.
If you feel like your family might be the perfect forever home for Marvel , please submit an adoption application for her today!!
