Bubbles was surrendered to SNAFU Rescue via a breeder release.  Her breeder wanted her to live the rest of her life as a cherished and loved pet.

Bubbles is the perfect balance of social and laid back!  She has an active, gregarious and outgoing personality using her good looks to captivate any audience. Bubbles is truly kind, loving and the most darling French Bulldog you can meet.  She has a particularly sweet personality when trying to grab the attention of her humans as she ever so gently requests extra ear scratches and demands to snooze wherever her people are at.   She is such a Velcro dog!  After an attention seeking session, Bubbles needs a little walk around the block to burn off just a little energy.  Then it is off to nap land!  Bubbles can be a typical bulldog grabbing any chance she can to partake in a bulldog snooze on any soft comfy surface she can find.  After her little nap, her energy is back and you can find Bubbles looking for her nylabone to take in a chewing session.  She has yet to have any interest in toys as bones are more her thing!  Bubbles has a Boston Terrier foster sister that she is aloof too.  They get along but Bubbles really doesn't give any attention or much much thought and is rather ambivalent. She is slowly learning to live her life as a cherished pet and it is important to remember that she is dealing with a big transition and as such will need a patient and understanding family to help her manage what is expected of her in her new home.   We feel Bubbles would do great with another balanced dog her size and equally okay as an only pet. She has resource guarded both her food and crate in the past and her adoptive family must be willing to work on correcting this unwanted but subtle behavior.  Bubbles is such a people person!  She has yet to meet a human she hasn’t demanded attention from, greeted with a wiggling bulldog butt and wanted to receive some love and pets from.  Given her very mild, gentle temperament, social disposition and obsession for extra scratchies we feel she would be perfect in a home with children of any age as long as they are calm, gentle and dog savvy.  Bubbles should always be supervised when she is around children and other dogs to make sure she and they are kept safe.

Bubbles is fully potty trained.  Her foster family reports she does not have any accidents inside the crate.  Patience, persistence, a consistent schedule and a signal for potty is a MUST in order for her continued success!  As with all of our dogs, any adopter will need to be able and willing to continue working on potty training. Bubbles is completely crate trained and sleeps quietly while her foster family is away and also at night.  A similar crating schedule is recommended as Bubbles does not know danger and it is important for her that her new family understands that she is still learning how to be a pet and what is expected from her.

Medically, Bubbles is in great health. She has been spayed, nares widened, a dental, updated on vaccinations/dewormings, heartworm tested, microchipped and has been given a clean bill of health by our veterinarian!  Bubbles does suffer from seasonal allergies and greatly benefit from a daily allergy pill (Benadryl or Zyrtec) and a cytopoint shot in those high allergy months.

Bubbles doesn’t stray too far from her people so she would not require to be in a home with a fenced in yard but one is always recommended.  She would need daily walks to get her exercise in as she loves to show off her perfected leash skills!  Since she is a quiet frenchie and does great on a leash, she would do fine in an apartment if on the ground floor (she is unsure of many stairs) with a fenced-in area.  She is such a people person, we also think she'd love to go work with her new family if they wanted to take her with them to the office! If her people are not able to take her to work with them, no problem at all - she's completely happy sleeping the day away in her crate as long as she has a warm soft blanket and her people can arrange for a mid-day potty break for her!  Bubbles is a love-bug, very sweet, easy going and chill little girl that wants nothing more than to be with her humans at all times.  Bubbles would be a lovable addition to any family!

If you are interested in Bubbles and think you would be her perfect forever home, please submit an adoption application for her today!

NOTE: Please note that it will likely be at *least* a 3-4 week minimum before you hear back from us after submitting an adoption application.  We typically accept for new applications for a period of 7 days or until 20 applications have been received for any newly available dog.  After that time period, the applications are sent on to the foster family for review and that usually takes from at *least* a few days to a week to sort through the applications, etc.  :-)  Most of our dogs receive several applications so this process does take some time, especially on dogs who are more popular for one reason or another.  We do require phone interviews to be conducted between the foster family and potential adopters, vet reference checks and a home visit to be conducted for all potential adopters, if they are selected as the top choice applicant, which will also take time to complete.   That being said, we do always let our applicants know if they are chosen or not. :-)

IF you happen to not be chosen, please don't feel discouraged as, again, we usually get several applications for each dog, and sometimes it can be very difficult to choose just one adopter.  In those cases, we usually offer to keep the applications for adoption on file for any future dogs that come into our rescue. :-)

ALL adopters are required to come and pick up their adopted dogs in person from the dog's foster home (we do not ship any of our dogs). Please have road/driving transport plans in place to pick up an adopted dog before you apply!  While we are not against adopters flying a foster dog in cabin on a commercial flight, please keep in mind that many are not good candidates for flying due to size and/or being a brachycephalic/short nosed breed.

If an adopter can not keep one of our grads, for any reason at all, at ANY point in time, they *must* be willing and able to return their adopted dog to his/her original foster home, despite distance and any costs that would be required to do so.
